The Massachusetts Executive Office of Transportation & Public Works has launched the official site for the project at www.greenlineextension.org. You'll find project documents, background information, and a calendar of upcoming meetings. You can also sign up for updates on meetings and new documents.

Today’s Federal Register EPA section contains the proposed new SIP transit projects, including the agreed-upon 2014 deadline for two Green Line extension spurs: one to Medford and one to Union Square. The Federal EPA must approve the revised SIP for everything to move forward.

"Green Line meeting members can't agree on where the line ends" At the inaugural meeting of the Green Line Project Advisory Board, a dispute broke out between two members over where to end the line.

This afternoon was the first meeting of the Green Line Advisory Group. Topics included the scope of the Draft Environmental Impact Report, Green Line alternatives to be studied, and the schedule of upcoming meetings. Keep reading for notes from the meeting.

Thursday is the first monthly meeting of the Green Line Advisory Group, which will make sure that the Somerville, Medford, and Cambridge communities are involved in the planning, design, and development of this critical project.
