“What I can tell you from inside the room on the Green Line extension discussions is that everyone involved has a positive attitude and we’re figuring how to deliver a model project. No one is pushing away from the table and hopefully Secretary Pollack should have a formal plan to propose to the Governor in the next month. They’re still doing construction work on the GLX today.
The biggest thing I want to stress is the lockstep commitment to making this project a reality. I know people sometimes read news reports and speculate that the knives are out behind the scenes. That is not the case here. The GLX will happen and soon we’ll have an updated plan in terms of how it will happen.”
