In May the state announced its support for the Somerville Green Line extensions, but the state's environmental agency still needs to change key regulations to make it happen. “Green Line extension gets another boost from state”
State environmental officials announced their support for a Green Line extension through Somerville and into Union Square this week.
In another step forward, the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection gave its blessing to the revised list of transit pledges, includng the two Somerville Green Line extensions to West Medford and to Union Square.
