Contact your aldermen and state officials

Your aldermen. Find your local alderman and let him or her know how much you care about transportation in Somerville.

Your state senator and representative. Find out who represents you and make sure they know that Somerville deserves better public transit.

Contact state and federal agencies

The Boston Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO). This agency carries out federally funded transportation plans. Visit the Boston MPO website to learn more and be heard.

The MBTA. Keep an eye on transportation news at the MBTA website, where you can voice your concerns about issues like bus emissions.
