ALL ABOARD! It’s official! The Green Line is coming to Somerville!

This morning, state officials held a press conference in Union Square to announce full state support for Green Line branches to Medford (along the Lowell Line) and to Union Square. They promised completion dates between 2011-2014. Officials noted this morning that overwhelming citizen support from people like you made a difference! Thanks to all who have supported this effort.

Doug Foy, Secretary of Commonwealth Development, makes the official announcement. Continue for more photos.
